An original Long Story Short Media production, MoCAT's Teen Battle of the Bands was a competition organized by the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in collaboration with The Museum of the Contemporary American Teenager. I was part of the documentary crew that worked during the summer capturing the stories and perspectives offered by many of the kids in the local D.C. youth punk music scene.
For this project, I worked as the sound recordist for many different b-roll and interview shoots in the area. For now, we've put together this trailer for the documentary. Here is some bts photography.
